"Communication & honesty: the keys to a very good relationship."
I got this card for my Husband on Father's Day simply because we've had this exact conversation which I would dare say you have too!
Communication is challenging on a good day, yet alone add in betrayal. We work at being intentional in our communication via emails, phone calls, text and in person. It's a skill we have learned to improve and continually work on.
How do you feel you communicate best with your spouse? Are there areas you need to work on to most effectivly portray what you're thinking? Do you find triggers in the lack of communication with your spouse? What ways do you communicate most productively with your spouse?
Think of ways to have fun expressing yourself with each other - it doesn't always need to be serious; have fun telling the other that you love them!
There may be littles watching so let's do our part in teaching the next generation how to communicate in a healthy manner.
If you need an ear to listen or chat with, please don't hesitate to reach out and let me know.
