Even though I HATE Las Vegas, as in never had or will have the desire to go again to this city, Tim and I were still able to find some sweet moments together before our flights later in the afternoon. The smaller replica was nothing like the real Eiffel Tower we stood by on our honeymoon, but it still delivered a fulfilling breakfast buffet and memories of the honeymoon sixteen years ago. As for having our two oldest kids with us ... well, massive parent fail we both had extreme guilt from. What I loved watching was both My Love and Man Cub (10 year old son) protecting each other and giving warning to look away, down or to close their eyes. Proud of each of them for respecting themselves enough to look away when everything in this city tries to get a second glance. Even the candy store wasn't safe. Grateful we made it out alive.
Maybe next time we see the real Eiffel Tower... or fly out of a different city!
